TremTrak
Building an AI Tool to Track Micrographia in Parkinson's

Background
TremTrak is an MVP web experience I designed and built as part of The Icarus Project, an early-stage nonprofit focused on medical research and innovation. This site serves as a signal test - a way to gather early feedback, collect user data, and build visibility for the technology. If successful, the experience will later be developed into a full application to support long-term tracking and accessibility
What I Did
Rapid wireframing and prototyping
Front end development (React/JS)
Timeline
12 weeks+ (ongoing)
Micrographia
(noun)
refers to abnormally small, cramped handwriting, often associated with Parkinson's disease
can be measured using the Spiral Test, where a patient draws a spiral which can be "unraveled" to reveal the steadiness of the drawing
Problem
We needed something that not only captured what TremTrak is, but what it could be.
My design challenge was to translate our vision of a multi-faceted AI analysis Parkinson's tool into a clear and approachable MVP web experience. I needed to design something that was technically feasible, yet captured the main core value proposition of our product in order to gauge interest and collect initial data and feedback.
How might we…
design a focused MVP without losing the impact of the vision?
While we wanted to do anything and everything to make Parkinson's disease management easier, we had to first get something out the door and get our name out there. We are a small team of 8 total, and needed to narrow our scope so we could have tangible and realistic progress without losing our core mission.
Sneak Peak… still working on it though!
